RAILWAY: Group D Recruitment 2026, 21,997 vacancies, Qualification 10th – Apply online

The Ministry of Railways, through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), has finally released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2025. This recruitment drive is a major recruitment drive , which aims to fill 21,997 vacancies tentatively for various Level-1 posts under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix in multiple zones of the Indian Railways.

  • Educational Qualification Railway Group D : 10th pass / Matric pass, Candidates must have completed the required educational or technical qualifications from a recognized board/university by the closing date of application. Those awaiting results are not eligible.

The Selection Process Railway Group D.

The RRB recruitment process is strictl based on merit and consists of the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): first single-stage online examination. Note that there is a negative marking  for every incorrect answer. 33% or 1/3
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who  qualifies CBT will be called for the PET.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Candidates who clear both PET and OMR text will have their original documents verified.
  4. Medical Examination (ME):  at last Final selection is subject to passing the medical standards required for the specific post.
